TSEWA Meeting - Brig CSVidyasagar

Dear Members of TSEWA,
1.    During the Core Committee meeting held in 143 Vayupuri, Secunderabad, few important decisions were taken.These are primarily  to Celebrate TSEWA’s birth day on 14 Jun 2016 (the day in 2015 founder members took a decision to form TSEWA and announcement was made to this effect to 1,000 veterans who attended Hyderabad ESM Rally on 14 Jun 2015 at Cantonment ground next to Jubilee Bus Stand, Secunderabad). The Core Committee also decided to inaugurate TSEWA Web Site and Software for benefit of Ex-Servicemen and Family pensioners (ESM &FP). They also decided this software shall be made available free of cost to all veterans whether they are members of TSEWA or not. The feasibility to conduct AGM on the same day was discussed but due to short time available and also due to severe summer in Hyderabad it was decided to postpone holding of AGM to winter months i.e. October to December 2016 where much larger participation is expected from A.P and Telangana alone. 
2.     A sub committee formed under chairmanship of Col MJ Ganapathy (mob no: 9347054180, e-mail id: mjganapathy@gmail.com), decided on the following :-
(a) Venue . Community Hall AWHO Ved Vihar.
(b) Time : 1100 hrs, 14 Jun 2016.
© Events. To be planned on low key affair to cut down costs. Cutting of cake to mark birth day of TSEWA and inauguration of TSEWA Web Site and Software, felicitation of MD, IQM Soft and progrmmers who developed Web Site and Software for TSEWA. Lunch at 1330 hrs (simple menu to cut down cost of expenditure)
(d) Programme: Tentative but will be fine-tuned after getting some more inputs.
(i)    1000 hrs -   Arrival of Core Committee members and supervision of all arrangements.
(ii)    1030 hrs – Arrival of MC (Smt Shanaz Shariff) and briefing of any minor changes.
(iii)   1100 hrs – Arrival of members of TSEWA & their registration (Responsibility – H/Capt B Joseph, Joint Secretary TSEWA)
(iv)   1100 -1105 hrs -  Welcome address and events of the day by Sgt Lawrence Joseph, Vice President.
(v) 1105 – 1125 hrs – Rundown of what happened from 15 Jan 2015 to date giving brief history of TSEWA, achievements and future plans by Col Dr GB Sethi, General Secretary.
(vi) 1125-1135 hrs – Briefing on State of legal cases filed and to be filed by Gp Capt CRR Sastry, Joint Secretary, TSEWA.
(vii) 1135 – 1136 hrs  –  Inauguration of TSEWA Web site by clicking of mouse by the Oldest member by seniority in the Core Committee of  TSEWA.
(viii) 1136-1206 hrs – Briefing of various features of TSEWA web site and software by Lt Col Dr D Sampath Kumar, Administrator of web site.
(ix) 1207 – 1212 hrs – Felicitation of MD IQM Soft and programmers who developed TSEWA Web site and software by the President with shawl and memento.
(x)   1212 – 1217 hrs - Speech by Mr P Subramaniam, MD IQM Soft.
(xi) 1217-1232 hrs -  State of our membership and state of funds by Lt Col G Parvathesam, Treasurer.
(xii) 1232 – 1235 hrs -  Birth day celebration by cutting of cake by all Executive committee members of TSEWA.
(xiii) 1235 – 1255 hrs  - Recommendations from participants for betterment of TSEWA, its growth, their expectations from TSEWA, additional features to be incorporated in web site and software.
(xiv) 1255 to 1300 hrs – Felicitation of MC and Vote of Thanks by Col N Sitaramaiah, Vice President.
(xiii) 1300 hrs onwards -  Lunch & thereafter dispersal.
3. Invitation. This is an invitation to all members of TSEWA. It is not possible to give an individual invitation to attend the memorable event in the history of TSEWA. All outstation members may kindly intimate your willingness to attend the function to Col MJ Ganapathy. All arrangements from the time you arrive at Rajiv Gandhi Air Port, Shamshabad  or  Railway station (Hyderabad, / Secunderabad  / Kachiguda till your departure from Secunderabad shall be made by TSEWA. Expenditure on outstation members for accommodation, food , travel etc will be borne by TSEWA. A reception committee with a LO for each outstation member shall be detailed (by Col MJ Ganapathy) to ensure you are made comfortable during your stay in Secunderabad – Hyderabad. A Hyderabad darshan also is being planned. All outstation members are requested to give your arrival and departure details to Col MJ Ganapathy, Chairman  of Organising Committee. All those who come from various districts of Telangana are expected to return homes by 1500 hrs hence no accommodation is being planned for them.
4. Publicity. Col MK Veeramani is entrusted with the responsibility of PR.
5. We intend to conduct this memorable event in the most befitting manner but with no extravaganza to cut down costs as much as we can. 
6. In-Station Members. We need few volunteers to undertake tasks connected with organising this event. Kindly give your particulars to Col MJ Ganapathy who will be too happy to utilise your services.

7.    Sir, you are requested to list out various activities and allocate responsibilities for this event amongst our Core Committee members. We can get help of in – station members to help you out like LOs, banner fixation at few important places, fixing notices in ECHS polyclinics, CSD canteens etc. You may like to give TV scrolling for two days i.e on 12 and 13 Jun 2016. You can plan the events the way you want in consultation with Col Dr GB Sethi, Gen Secy and Lt Col G Parvathesam, Treasurer. You can take any other Core Committee member to assist you. I shall give you my recommendations as events unfold.
