It is intimated that PCDA(P) Allahabad circular No. 555 dated 04 Feb 2016 has been issued based on the Govt of India, Ministry of Defence letter No. 12 (1)/2014/D(Pen/Policy)-Part-II dated 03 Feb 2016 regarding One Rank One Pension to the Defence Forces personnel. In accordance with ibid letter, the Govt has authorised the Pension Disbursing Agencies to revise the pension/ family pension of all eligible defence personnel without calling any application or any other authorization. Therefore, issuance of revised/ corrigendum PPOs for payment of revised rate of pension/ family pension is not required.

LIVE TELECAST OF IFR- 2016

Dear Veterans,

1.  Live telecast of following activities of IFR-2016 at Visakhapatnam will be broadcast by Doordarshan on DD national.
(a) International Fleet Review -     0830Hrs- 1130Hrs on 06 Feb 16.
(b) International City parade   -     1700Hrs- 1900Hrs on 07 Feb 16.

2.  Live commentary of both events will be aired by All India Radio on Local air stations.

3.  Live video of the following will be streamed on the IFR website homepage
(a)  CNS Press Conference between 1030Hrs- 1130Hrs on 05 Feb 16.
(b)  International Maritime Conference.
(i)  Day one from 0900Hrs- 1305Hrs on 07 Feb 16.
(ii) day Two from 0915Hrs- 1305Hrs on 08 Feb 16.
(c)  Closing Ceremony from 1900Hrs- 2120Hrs on 08 Feb 16.
