Recovery of excess payment of pension& arrears from all type of pensioner from 1/1 /2006 to 30/6/2014,Due to wrong payment of rank weight age from those who fall below threshold limit of maximum pension.

 A] THE PENSION WILL  BE REDUCED from 1/1/2006  AS RANK WEIGHT AGE HAS BEEN  REMOVED FROM THE TOTAL Pensionable SERVICE. Similarly arrears from 1/1/2006 will be reduced . As PDA has paid pension on QS & not on AS.

B] THE OROP PENSION IS To be paid on  ACTUAL SERVICE ONLY.


C] EVEN PRE 2006 PENSIONERS HAVE BEEN DENIED RANK WEIGHT AGE  IN OROP AS PER PCDA CIRCULAR NO:557


D] Now OROP IS to be  PAID ON ACTUAL SERVICE AND NOT ON TOTAL SERVICE

TOTAL SERVICE = ACTUAL SERVICE + RANK WEIGHT AGE

Whether Qualifying Service (Q.S) is to be taken as actual or with weight age?

In Post-2006 retirees cases, weight age had been withdrawn from Qualifying Service.

 Therefore, the qualifying service mentioned in OROP table is actual qualifying service only.

No weight age in qualifying service is to be allowed at all while extending the benefit of OROP in past cases.

 For example, if actual Q.S. was ‘q’ years and weight age, if any, was ‘y’ years, the pension indicated in the concerned table for ‘q’ years only is to be paid to the pensioner.“

A) Your actual service from Original PPO
B) Kindly check your Rank weight age.
C) Your QS till 1/1/2006 is Sum of A+B
D) Your QS after 1/1/2006 & OROP is actual service I.e A
E) Your entitlement of pension/ family pension & Orop is from 1/1/2006 is Actual service=A
F) Officers Family pensioners have been have been paid the maximum as No different tables exist in PCDA circular . They have been left to calculate themselves while tables have been made for officers. What a agony.
G) Now it will have cascading effect on fixations if 7th CPC
Due to Actual Service. The arrears & pension will thus also be less rank wright age.

Tell your PDA your actual service & get pension + arrears on Actual Service only Else You will get a big demand notice . As one Col Sharma has got notice of 5.74 lacs.
