• The Phase of Government changing goal posts every now and then comes to an end. We go to people of India from today onwards.
• UFESM with its representatives in every District and Tehsil of India will return medals IN EVERY DISTRICT IN INDIA on 09 and 10 Nov 2015.
• Let every ex-serviceman remember 11 Nov as the BLACKEST DIWALI in his life. Let every ex-serviceman remember that this Government humiliated him.
• The Return of Medals will be the biggest event globally ever by veterans. Let the world know how successive governments treat veterans.
• Summarise 1950 to 73. Three wars- 62 war- decision makers become heroes army hangs head in shame. 65- Army, with its leadership wins the war. 71-Resounding victory-creates Bangladesh.
• Govt’s first move to stab forces in back. 1973-pensions slashed.
• Brief of fight from 1973 to Sep 2013.
• Sep 2013 till BJP came to power.
• Parliaments clearing on two occasions.
• 14 Jun- RHS.
• Fast unto death.
• Today is 145th Day- Govt unconcerned.
• No appointment despite request every day.
• Shocking behaviour of Govt. Humiliation of veterans.
• Blackout of media.
• Our taking on the blackout by creating Social Media Team.
• Involvement of families, children, veer naris, ladies, civil society.

• We had warned Govt that we will only escalate.
PLAN
• NATIONAL
• UFESM representatives in 676 districts will apply to Civil Administration to collect medals from them on 09 and 10 Nov.
• Location will be of their choosing. Locations will be specially selected where INDIA watches “RETURN OF MEDALS”. These will be places that have maximum transit of population.
• We will be most disciplined, will not cause traffic snarls, block roads, block airports, block railway lines, or do anything that troubles population.
• W are dignified and out protest has been a proof.
• For two days we will display our medals to India and will hand over to the District Commissioner.
• The DC will be requested to send these under special escort to Rashtrapati Bhawan Secretariat in New Delhi.
• INTERNATIONAL
• All ex servicemen settled anywhere on the Globe will return their medals to the Indian Embassies. They will carry placards and display images outside embassy gate.
• FOR INDIA
• Every ex-serviceman will form a group of five and carry placards for “ONE RANK ONE PENSION” in every mall in India for two days. The Diwali rush will not be disturbed. They will move in malls.

DETAILED PLAN

• India has 676 Districts. Soldier is basically a KISAN so soldiers reside in each and every village in India.
• UFESM represented in each district will write an application today addressed to District Commissioner and ask him to collect medals from ex-servicemen.
• “EX_SERVICEMEN RETURN MEDALS TO GOVERNMENT” event will be held in every district in India on 09 1nd 10 Nov 2015.
• The point to be selected will be at discretion of the UFESM District Convener and will be a point from where maximum population transits. India will be informed by us directly of the humiliation by the Government of ex-servicemen.
• On 09 and 10 Nov, all ex servicemen with their medals will line up in a disciplined and dignified manner but ensure maximum visibility to population.
• The District Commissioner will collect the medals.
• Should the District Commissioner not come to collect the medals, the medals will be left behind.
• The District Commissioner will be requested to guard the medals since one of the Ribbons has Indian Tricolour.
• The medals are to be sent to Rashtrapati Bhawan.

o The application for RETURN OF MEDALS AT ARRIVAL OF T1 INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND ARRIVAL OF T3 OF DOMESTIC AIRPORT has been made. Police Commissioner and Chief Minister will be spoken to today.

Wherever we do not have a convener, the ESM signing application will de-facto become our UFESM representative.
INTERNATIONAL
o Across the world the support for OROP is increasing every day. The ESM will go to each embassy and return the medals to the Ambassador in Indian Embassies. They will stand there for long time to ensure visibility.
o All ex servicemen settled abroad will go to Indian Embassies with their family and friends, carrying placards and wearing medals. They will be accompanied by media.
• The medals will be returned to Ambassador.
• THEY WILL DRAW ATTENTION OF INTERNATIONAL MEDIA TO THE PATHETIC STATE OF ESM IN INDIA.
o Across the world the support for OROP is increasing every day. The ESM will go to each embassy and return the medals to the Ambassador in Indian Embassies. They will stand there for long time to ensure visibility.
