PIDPI Complaints : Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2023

GUIDELINES FOR LODGING PIDPI COMPLAINT

1. The PIDPI complaint should be in a closed/ secured envelope and should be addressed to Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission. The envelope should clearly be inscribed with “Complaint under the Public Interest Disclosure” or “PIDPI”

2. The PIDPI complainant should give his/her name and address in the beginning or end of complaint or in an attached letter. The name and address should NOT be mentioned on the envelope

3. Only complaints pertaining to employees of the Central Government or of any corporation established by or under any Central Act, Government companies, societies or local authorities owned or controlled by the Central Government fall under the jurisdiction of the Commission. Personnel employed by the State Governments and activities of the State Governments or its Corporations etc. will not come under the purview of the Commission

4. Complaints should be sent via post only. Complaints received through emails, Complaint Management Portal or any other electronic medium will not be entertained

5. In order to protect identity of the person, the Commission will not issue any acknowledgement and the whistle-blowers are advised not to enter into any further correspondence with the Commission in their own interest. The Commission assures that, subject to the facts of the case being verifiable, it will take the necessary action, as provided under the Government of India Resolution mentioned above

6. The complaints should have vigilance angle and should not be for grievance redressal

7. PIDPI complaints should not include details that identify the complainant. If the inclusion of such details is unavoidable then a normal complaint may be lodged in the CVC portal

8. Previous circulars and letters on PIDPI are available on the website of the Commission and may be referred to for further details.

 मराठी वृत्तपत्र लेखक संघ मुंबईचे कार्यालयासाठी धरणे-आंदोलन  आमदार कालिदास कोळंबकर यांचे आश्वासन

अमृतमहोत्सवी वर्ष साजरे करताना मराठी वृत्तपत्र लेखक संघ मुंबई या संस्थेच्या कार्यालयाला महापालिकेने नोटीस देऊन सिल केल्यामुळे संस्था गेल्या ४ वर्षांपासून बेघर झाली आहे, २०१६ पासून सर्व पक्षीय सत्ताधारी, पालिका प्रशासनातील अधिकारी, लोकप्रतिनिधी यांच्या गाठीभेटी, पत्रव्यवहार करूनही आश्वासनापलीकडे कुणीही दाद घेत नव्हते,  त्याविरोधात दाद मागण्यासाठी मुंबई-ठाण्यातील वृत्तपत्र लेखक जुने कार्यालय असलेल्या शिंदेवाडी महापालिका शाळेसमोर एकत्र आले होते, आमदार कालिदास कोळंबकर यांनी या धरणे-आंदोलनाला तातडीने भेट दिली आणि संबंधितांशी संपर्क साधून कार्यालय पुन्हा मिळवून देतो त्याचबरोबर माझ्या मतदार संघातील जनसामान्यांचे प्रश्न निस्वार्थीपणे आणि निर्भीडपणे वर्तमानपत्रातून लिहिणारी महाराष्ट्रातील ही महत्वाची वृत्तपत्र लेखक चळवळ सुरु राहण्यासाठी मी तातडीने अगोदर मुंबई मनपा आयुक्त आणि वेळ प्रसंगी महाराष्ट्राच्या मुख्यमंत्र्यांपर्यंत पोहोचून प्रयत्न करणार असे आश्वासन दिले. यावेळी रवींद्र मालुसरे (अध्यक्ष ), प्रशांत घाडीगावकर (प्रमुख कार्यवाह), कार्यवाह नितीन कदम, कार्याध्यक्ष रमेश सांगळे, कोषाध्यक्ष आत्माराम गायकवाड आणि संघाचे माजी अध्यक्ष विजय ना कदम, माजी अध्यक्ष मनोहर साळवी, ज्येष्ठ वृत्तपत्र लेखक कृष्णा काजरोळकर, मनमोहन चोणकर, कृष्णा ब्रीद,प्रकाश बाडकर, सूर्यकांत भोसले, दिलीप ल सावंत, गुरुनाथ तिरपणकर, दिगंबर चव्हाण, विवेक तवटे, राजन देसाई,अब्बास अत्तार, चंदन तावडे, रामचंद्र जायसवाल, दिलीप दळवी, दादासाहेब येंधे,अर्जुन जाधव,प्रशांत भाटकर आदी वृत्तपत्र लेखक उपस्थित होते.

Indian Navy conducted its Annual Education Officers Enrichment Programme 2023

INDIAN NAVY CONDUCTS ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME FOR SENIOR OFFICERS OF EDUCATION BRANCH

Indian Navy conducted its Annual Education Officers Enrichment Programme 2023 on 05 & 06 Oct 23 at New Delhi. The programme was attended by R Adm Rajvir Singh, Principal Indian Naval Academy, Commodore G Rambabu, Commodore (Naval Education) and other senior officers of Education Branch of IN. The main objective of this programme was to discuss various policy initiatives and contemporary issues related to the branch and further improve its functional effectiveness towards growth and development of IN.

As part of this programme, guest speakers from National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) were invited to deliver lectures on latest developments in the field of education including Higher Education. In addition, speakers from sister services, other educational bodies and other Directorates at Naval Headquarters delivered lectures on relevant and contemporary topics. In his closing address, VAdm K Swaminathan, Chief of Personnel & Controller Personnel Services complimented recent initiatives by the Directorate of Naval Education and branch’s role in the field of education, training and welfare of Naval personnel. He exhorted the delegates to continue providing effective leadership towards moulding the branch in line with ever evolving role of the IN.

Officers of Central Power Engineering Service and Probationers

 

OFFICERS OF CENTRAL POWER ENGINEERING SERVICE AND PROBATIONERS OF INDIAN TRADE SERVICE CALL ON THE PRESIDENT

Officers of Central Power Engineering Service (2018, 2020 and 2021 batches) and probationers of Indian Trade Service (2022 batch) called on the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan today (October 5, 2023).

Addressing the officers of Central Power Engineering Service, the President said that one of the indicators of socio-economic progress of a country is energy demand and consumption. Therefore, as India moves ahead to become the 3rd largest economy of the world, demand and consumption of power would certainly increase which would further drive the country’s development.

The President said that energy efficiency and renewable energy are the key pillars for achieving India’s goal of net zero emissions. According to International Energy Agency, energy efficiency is called the “first fuel” in clean energy transitions. It provides some of the quickest and most cost-effective climate change mitigation options. It also reduces energy bills and strengthens energy security. She urged Central Power Engineering Service officers to focus on increasing energy efficiency which would make it easier to achieve the climate change related goals. She said that they might face several challenges in the process of energy transition and grid integration but they must play productive role in adopting holistic approach to address the challenges. She added that the future of the power sector lies in research and innovation be it in energy storage, grid management, or new forms of energy generation. She urged them to give importance to research and development in power sector so that India remains competitive at the global stage.

 Addressing the Indian Trade Service officers, the President said that trade forms the backbone of economies. It promotes investment, creates jobs, drives economic growth, and improves standards of living. She stated that India is committed to digital and sustainable trade facilitation and Indian Trade Service officers are going to play key role in trade promotion. They are not just trade regulators but are trade facilitators too.

 The President said that their service demands the knowledge of both international relations and nuances of trade operations so that they can bring up new dimensions in trade negotiations and trade policies and provide new impetus to boost India’s trade. They also have a major role in formulating strategies to boost exports from India. She stated that Foreign Trade Policy 2023 is based on principles of ‘trust’ and ‘partnership’ with the exporters. It also focuses on process re-engineering and automation to facilitate ease of doing business for exporters. She urged the Indian Trade Service officers to learn and use the latest tools of trade analytics to understand the emerging international trade scenario. She said that they require holistic outlook as well as specific domain expertise to comprehend and handle global challenges.
