Flawless Way of implementing OROP - Col Ranbir Lamba

With due respect to all
The definition of OROP is so simple but not understood by many
Rather OROP is now linked with pensionable service.( which is totally out of context )
Pensionable service is for eligibility of pension .It has no connection with OROP
OROP
1) Same Rank
2) Same Pension
3) Same length
So every thing revolves around Same Rank
May be pension emoluments OR length of of service in rank( It has nothing to do with total length of service)
With this application the biggest anomaly of pension is automatically eliminated ( This will stand in court of law where as total service will be set aside . Present tables of PCDA will face problem in court if law).
Starting from junior most rank to highest rank the OROP pension will be same
Now next in 7th CPC OROP has been given to all. So OROP revision
After 5 years is auto killed. The government should issue amendment to OROP letter.
The most important the present OROP ( As on 31/12/2015) becomes basic pension of 6th CPC.
So 7th CPC Matrix needs amendment.
1) pension as on 31/12/2015
2) Multiply it with 2.57( in case empowered committee enhances it then should be taken as multiple )
3) Select in matrix the new pension depending on increments in last rank held. This becomes your 7th CPC pension
4) Add DA as applicable from 1/1/2016
5) Add 3% increment on 1/7/2016 + DA that will be your pension wef 1/7/2016,

Note; We must commend BJP govt + PM+RM+FM for OROP.a long outstanding demand has become reality .People at JM should pack up & should thank govt for step forward action. Minor anamolies will be sorted out .
