ABPSSP :36th MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE and 18th AGM – Gp Capt S S Phatak

Akhil Bharatiya Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad held its 36th MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE AND 18TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING from 28 April to 30 April 2017 at Swami Narayan Temple premises , Panchvati, Nashik.

There were about 386 delegates who participated from 20 States of Union of India for three days. It included 50 ladies from differrent states. The programme for three days was organized as follows:-

28 April 2017: Core Committee meeting & followed by Management Committee Meeting

29 April 2017: Session I-Welcome Address by Lt Gen V M Patil, PVSM,AVSM

Session II:Inauguration by Hon Dr Subhash Bhamre , Rajya Raksha Mantri, MOD

Session III: Financial Planning by Air Cmde B K Gandhi

Session IV: Health care and Swatchha Bharat lectures by Kerala & Rajasthan

Session V: Safety of Women by UP delegates

Session VI: Road Map for 2017 by Maj Gen NN Gupta.

30 April 2017: Session I: Reports on various trusts-Netaji Subhash Trust

Veer Gram Gaurav Yojana

Sainya Matru Shakti

Sainya Sandesh

Session II: Coordination Meet and Each State reporting

Session III: Open Session

Session V: Address by the President and National Marg Darshak.

Entire programme came to an end after lunch at 1400hrs on 30 April 2017.

Chief Mahant of Swami Narayan Temple gave us all the facilities at his school for those three days. Our volunteers and from IESL had managed various counters at Railway Station and Bus stand for the benefit of delegates. Many Officers were accommodated in three nearby hotels on payment. Capt Ajit Odhekar and his team deserves special mention who gave us full support at each stage.

Dr Subhash Bhamre, our Hon RRM , held a separate press conference and answered all the questions asked by reporters. He also joined us for lunch with all delegates and made it a point to meet them and ladies in the Shamiana erected for this purpose. We have been tasked to increase our membership to One Lakh in next six months so that MOD, Govt of India gives us formal recognition at par with IESL and Air Force Association.
