Various modern technological equipment are being utilized by Army for surveillance in Siachen which includes Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, different types of Radars etc. Further, only required forces have been deployed keeping in view the threat perception, ground situation and other operational aspects.
This information was given by Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar in a written reply to Shri Vishambhar Prasad Nishad and Smt Kanak Lata Singh in Rajya Sabha today.
